once again this weekend the juniors out performed the senior colts, but i am not writing this to brag. but the way it looks atm we are currently the best team in orrell but still do not recieve any recognition 4 it. at the meeting last week i mentioned that we are performing well as a team and was told basically that it was down to the fact that we were playing some senior colts n thats y we had won those games. this sunday we went to wilmslow, hu r higher in the league than us, with only 11 players. not a full strength squad to say the least. and not even our coaching/management team thought we could win. nevertheless the team hu turned up played 1 man short (wilmslow only being allowd 2 play 12) all game, and at 1 point 3 men down, due to a sin binning and injury. and due to complete ignorance to give up, we battled through, played many out of position, i ofcourse played my usual role as flyhalf. haha. and with a tight defence and ability 2 cut open their defence we won the game 34-22. although quite close in points, the game was not. wilmslow only scored because of their inevitable overlap. lets hope the rest of the season is as successful!

Well done Lee - and the rest of the colts.
I am sorry if you feel you aren't getting enough recognition for your efforts, it's certainly not what we intend... Please keep us informed of your endeavours on here and you'll find more people will become aware of what you're up to.
Greg H tells me he will write more match reports for the colts so I should be able to get them up on the web site (or on here). Or you and your teammates could try your hand at writing reports...
Also if you lot want photos up on the wbsite then get some done and send me them... I keep asking for this but get nothing.

thanks martin. i would write some match reports but i am affriad they would b abit biased, haha. and frankly am too much of a busy man 2 b writing stories, wer not all housemaids like u. haha. and yes i would like some photos on the website. just dont take any durin games if wer playin alongside grundy, people dont want 2 c him sweatin all over evry1. hahahaha, oj m8.

well done boys glad u won at leaste some 1 can win even if it aint us ha ha. and the real reasonis u dont wont to write a match report is ur like me a front row not a fly half so u carnt spell for regurgitated excrement like me ill bet ha ha ha. who scored for you and did little eddie play. if u still wana think about the thing me and jonny said about let me now mate. on the way back to ur from training last week.

Well done boys keep up the good work at least the name of Orrell will be kept going by a great colts team next year and the under 15s are behind you to keep the club going just needs building up on the rest of the teams now. Come on committee these lads will need a junior colts behind them in 12 months dont let them down pull all the stops out on recruitment

I'll agree with that one, each one of the lads gave 110% in that game regardless of numbers, and positions, we had a flanker and a number 8 playing in the centers for one thing  I think after all the stuff thats happened over the last few weeks I reackon all the lads just wanted to give a solid performance to show what they can do, and why they want to stay as a team. Btw what score did the seniors finish I know they were playin Kirkby or something like that?? |

alrite dayne we got beat 30 sumet nill. we got battered but saying that the pitch didnt suit our team but we should have done better. we had 15 to start with then two went down injured. both in the back line so we struggled abit during the game. but oh well. it happens dunit.

Yeh it does butchy but i think if i was playin then the score would have been the other way round!! lol oj lads keep it up - you cant beat the effort that is put in from yas, & ill hopefully be back soon me finger is on the mend.
Anyway, who played for us seniors then? & whos still at orrell and whos gone? anyone know....

alrite chris yeh ur proberly rite about the score so we can blame u for being injured. well me grundy midge front row, pat seanseconds, peggy jonny n max H. chris (plum at 9) a senior senior colt at 10 who went of. max S at 12 another senior senior at 13 who also went off. make walker and sum1 else on the wing. and john at fullback. we had fun chris u would of like it mate peggy smacked by there capatain and got binned for it i got headbutted in a tackle an have chipped the back of two of my teeth hahaha. and i nearlly took some lads head of what a tackle lol

kool have u trained up at jr this week i havent bin able to get there so duno if u have or not. yeh we are playin mold at home this weekend i think. hopefully we can get a win and go above bottom lol.

alrite butch, am still thinkin bou wa we talkd about. bt al probly stay til the end of the season. both teams are picking up numbers so we might not do 2 bad. ad rather stay at orrell, but only if we have no political interference, players need 2 b happy and up until recently tht was not the case. but now weve got rid of a certain bunch of ppl we shud b ok, u no hu i mean. and btw i have mre than 1 brain cell unlike u, an could rite a gd match report. lol hahaha
