There's been a piece on Orrell broadcast on BBC North West news lunchtime today (Monday, 19th) - and, I imagine, this will be repeated from 18.30 this evening. Very brief interviews with DW, Jim Lloyd & Dewi Morris, plus some nostalgic match footage. Mr Lloyd speculates that it's not sure whether they'll complete the season.
Nothing new but at least it's publicity.

Didnn't it make dave whelan look full of innocence Jim had a chance to tell some truths but once again we let it pass this will do us no good at all as we look as though we have caused all this ourselves. is there any hope at all i'm afraid not, even after appearing on this programme

I know reporters edit most of what is said in an interview....but it would have been nice to have heard promotion of the last 2 home games Also, why did the reporter only mention our 102-0 defeat some weeks back and left out our brave 18-18 draw last weekend...although I dont suppose that fits with the doom and gloom story

I've uploaded the video for anyone who missed it here: vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2016179471I don't have a licence to distribute it, certainly not on the Orrell website, but I'll have a chat with the Beeb tomorrow to see if I can show it 'legally' ;D I only want to use it as information though so I'm sure they'll be OK with it.

Jim has been asked to appear on BBC radio Manchester's sport programme this evening.
9-10pm 95.1FM
Don't know who/what else will be on the programme but at least I have some advanced notice of this one...

Its about time we started to promote the club. I have loads of people coming upto me in work saying my club was on telly yesterday. This is what we need to do to get people interested in the club no point saying no one comes to watch, what happened to all the fans when we were in National 1. You have to promote games let people know about them. From the beginning of the season people have been saying we should go to sky or things i've even said it and it shouldn't of taken this long to be honest. But well done to the people who have made this happen. I just hope this will help are attendence in the last couple of games.

Any people wishing to help the ever dwindling numbers of volunteers for these matches should contact Martin Stanton....PLEASE !!
