sad sad day!!

Well what a sad day it will be on sat!

Orrell RUFC has given me so much in the past, including a few black eyes, thick lips and a few trips to the good old a&e dept.

Playing back in 1992-95 for the juniors along with many good players such as greg crabtree, graham 5 bellies, big chris lucas and many others that i could mention.

The more i think about this era the more i can seem to remember, the trip to holland, and not to mention the 4*hotel in bristol- whos stupid idea was that??? Rugby lads and 4* hotels do not go together.

Well i would just like to say to all those individuals who have a little piece of orrell wedged into their memories as i have, i hope show willing and attend on sat for the last time.

I know i will be attending, along with greg crabtree and it will be good to see all the others too.

does anyone on the forum have any idea what big joe lucas is upto these days?

orrell thank you for giving so much to me over those special years the memories will live on forever.

Looking forward to seeing old faces it is 11 years since I wore the Orrell jersey but still think about it very often. Will be a huge sense of pride watching on Saturday as Orrell still remains the best Rugby Club in the North West even if we dont have the best team.

Good luck to the team and lets go out with a win.

been round at gregs house this afternoon for a drink and we have been talking about the good old times.
