Yep, both sides are working now. What was Whelan quoting as being the repair costs? Something around the £60,000 mark I think??? Try a hydraulic lift and an electrician who simply needed to replace some inexpensive wiring. £60k my arse! Ahhh good old Uncle Dave, he's a real sportsman isn't he....

The photograph actually shows the South Bank of lights working. These have always worked. Were the North bank lit?

There used to be some training lights on the 4th pitch (behind the scoreboard) and that's where (to the best of my knowledge) the squad would train during the week. They also had a long jump track there As far as I am aware the first pitch was only used for matchdays until Judas bought the place.

Spot on joe the younger kids trained on that one but there were also lights on the colts pitches and bunker hill behind the stand at one stage but your right they were soon dismantled when the club was taken over. At one stage training was cancelled because of lack of lights and jim and bill lloyd arranged for a few lights to be fixed which Orrell had to pay for, all we had was the lights over the small pitch for everyone to train on even under the whelan empire this should not have been allowed because of child safety and that is why a lot of parents stopped their kids coming
