Why is everyone seem to be so disillusioned with training? No slagging of just reasons and ideas please

i dont no wot usualy goes on at trainin like coz ive not been bac long but since ive cum bac weve run around the pitch n played tic and pass. the forwards dont do rucking and mauling and the backs dont do any ball work. i fink the team wud benefit from at least another 2 coaches

trainin isnt that bad, but i reckon if backs and forwards split for the first 45, then for the last 15 have T n P then as a whole team so that we arnt like seperate all session just need someone who can teach forwards, like sams dad did, then someone to just direct the backs a bit

i agree with mike let the pack go off and practise work from scrums and so on
then let the backs go away and do moves

Guys,
I appreciate its not my team etc but just wanted to offer some advice if poss.
As coaches we coach on what we see on from the touchlines but you guys are the ones on the field, if you feel there are areas that need to be worked on discuss this with your coaches. It is a 2-way process and you should always have a say in how your training goes. Importantly its about development and if you don't feel your learning from your coaching then raise this.
As far as availability of coaches go, although we wouldnt be able to coach every session im sure we at the U16's would be able to come down every so often and take forwards or backs for specific sessions. I know some of the parents of junior section players are ex players themselves and would be willing to help out if asked.
Also remember that as Colts you are members of the Senior team so may be worth asking Ian to see whether someone from them can come down. I have a feeling that training may clash but I would be disappointed if they weren't willing to help you out.
