Orrell 13 - 38 Colne and Nelson Unfortunately I was unable to attend the match yesterday as i was completing the final day of my RFU Level 1 Coaching course (why do they have it on a Sunday? ?) however the feedback from Jon and Martin was extremely positive. I personally am over the moon with this result, to explain why I will give you a few facts and figures.......... Major focus for this season has been defensive and recently attacking play, trying to build the teams game pattern on the field. This has been successful so far for 2 reasons - 38 points is the lowest points conceded in a single match, 13 points is the highest scored in a single match. So as far as the teams development goes this is a real positive, the defense is getting tighter and the tries are starting to come. The players attitude in training has been excellent and they are taking so much on board. Winning is only secondary to the teams development.
