Guys, Those wonderful people at RBS (no bias at all) are currently running a competition for rugby supporters to nominate their local club as doing the most for their communities. There is a party to be won for the winning club to be held on St. Patrick's, so we can all sit and watch Ireland take the Grand Slam against Italy!!!! (again no bias) . Prizes include a 42" telly for the club, Training Equipment and a donation to a local charity. As Orrell RUFC embodies the spirit of Community Rugby I thought it worthwhile to get everyone to vote for the club, I've made mine. To enter all you have to do is fill in a form with 25 words about why your club is the best - this can be found at the following link: www.rbs6nations.com/party/Joe, there is also an option for the club to link to the competition site at: www.rbs6nations.com/clubs/clubs.htm which enters the club into another prize draw So please take part and tell the world how much good Orrell RUFC do for the Community

Thanks for that Mel...I had realised that one after I'd finished printing, laminating and cutting up the tickets I'd done for the 16th December I wouldn't mind...I'd spelled it right on everything else!! Anyway, I've just voted for Orrell and would encourage everyone else to please do the same. Not only would it be superb publicity for Orrell but would be a great way to raise some much needed funds. Anyone having trouble wondering what to write or having trouble filling in the form, please just let me know and I'll help out if I can. Thanks,

I think we could probably set up a new tent for the telly...
That generator will need to start running on rocket fuel though if we're going to have telly AND pies...
