It's good to read the messages from the U15s about the new kits. The U13s also gave me some positive vibes as well. What did the other teams think?

I would like to thank the Junior Section for supply the new kit all though i haven't seen it on the lads yet as i missed the Sefton game and we have to play in yellow against Leigh so we don't clash. i think the club looks great now the whole Junior section play in the same kit we now look good as well as play good. the Junior Section has now supplied a new Kit for each team, jackets for all coaches and managers and alot of new training equipment which is really appreciated You could say the futures bright the futures BLACK AND AMBER.

The senior colts dont really rate the new kit - they feel abit light weight (and they all in a massive sizes too!!) and not like the old jjb kits where they were heavywieght kits (altough they were even bigger). Anyway doesnt really matter becasue sadly i dnt think the seniors will have to wear it much more this season tho.

they r a little light weight but that isnt that bad really for the smaller players the shirts r a bit bit but with drowning light weight shirts they may get ripped. they do nice but what happened to the real badge? i dont know if the other teams kits are the same or not.

All the colts and junior teams have the same kits. Not sure what you mean by the real badge unless you mean one that is sewn onto the front. The shirts are state of the art. Everything on the shirt is printed as part of the design including the badge, logos and number. This means that once the design has been set up by the manufacturers we can have a specific shirt replaced should it get damaged. Not that will happen as we all know the Orrell Colts and Juniors are untouchable!!!!

Karl - i wish us colts were untouchable (we used to be) but sadly were not now - so well have to make do with the shirts were given.

i beg to differ about state of the art as there from halbro at the end of the day. too light and design is too plainb and simple. horrible badge too why is it digital printed into the shirt??? thats nuts. anyone know why we couldn't get kooga like the 1sts???

well all the blame should go to switchblade he picked the collar midge told me. Also i heard crofty said it will be easy to be the colts when we go to waterloo. He is planning on scoring a hatrick of tries and dump at least half of the team. its all true midge also said in training last week he could easy play any position on the field infront of anyone with his perfect body o and i heard switchblade say this team is full of "birds"

The reason they are halbro kits is cos the junior section bought their own not like other clubs wer seniors provide for there juniores we are the only club wot pays for ar own food goes in pubs and as to pay towards ar training costs any wunder we cant go on tour and we skint

There are a couple of things that have been raised on this thread today that I'd like to reply to.
Firstly, junior player is mixing up two or three different subjects to further their grievance about not going on tour. Your view of the financial relationship between the Junior and Senior club is wrong, if you want to know how it works may I suggest you ask your team manager. If they don't know they can always ask me.
Secondly, as with every year those who don't like how things are going will have the opportunity to nominate new sacrificial lambs (sorry committee members) at the end of the season.
