its a great watch seeing the likes of stuart barnes and jeremy guscott coming to little old orrell then going back down south with losing pay. They were very informative programmes, filmed on TV each week for about 10 weeks. One week was life inside Wigan Warriors RL club and the next week a typical life inside Orrell RUFC. Because Wigan RL had more experience of the media they looked by far the more professional outfit ( which of course they were) but the Orrell input was honest and very enlightening to people on the outside. It is because we were so respected ( on and off the field)throughout the RU world in those days that we now attract countrywide sympathy for our current plight. By the way, remember it was before the game became professional so there was no such thing as Barnes and Guscott going away with losing pay ( officially )

I saw it some time ago - on dodgy Video.
There is someone selling DVD copies of it for 4.99 on eBay (not sure how legit they are though).
Do a search for Orrell on eBay and you should come across it.
Wouldn't mind seeing it again though... it might be more interesting now I know more about the club.
