Southport Under 12s 35 v Orrell Under 12s 21
Although Orrell had a lot of the early possession they fell behind to two Southport tries (which were converted) before Orrell went over for their first try(which was converted). Southport then established a 21 point lead with two more tries (which were converted) before Orrell pulled back a try (which was converted). Half Time Southport 28 v Orrell 14.
The second half saw Orrell continue to battle to get back into the game but it was Southport who broke away to score the first points of the second half (try converted). Orrell left the best until last with a nice passing move along the backs before going over for the last try of the game which was converted. Final score Southport 35 v Orrell 21.
The Under 12s played well today with some good passing and tackling. Keep up the good work Under 12s.
