After conceding an early try (which was converted) Orrell levelled the score half way through the first half with a try and conversion only for Bolton to take the lead again before half time with another try and conversion. To make things worse Orrell had a player sent off just before half time. Half Time Orrell 7 v Bolton 14
The second half saw a spirited display by Orrell which was rewarded with a try and conversion early in the second half only for Bolton to come back and take the lead with another try and conversion. Orrell continued to battle and grabbed two tries (both converted) to take the lead for the first time in the game. With the last play of the match Bolton snatched a draw with a try which was converted. Full time Orrell 28 v Bolton 28
It wasn't just victory that was snatched from the Under 12s this afternoon. When the players arrived for their meal after the match they found that the Under 16s had not only ate all the pies but the chip butties for the Under 12s as well!!
Next week the Under 12s play Blackburn at SJR
