It was an early start for the Under 11s today as they headed off to Kirby Lonsdale.
Kirby Lonsdale had run out easy winners when the teams met at John Rigby earlier this season.
Orrell got off to a slow start and were two tries down early on. Orrell then "woke up" and put in a good performance for the remainder of the first half. The Under 11s were unlucky not to score in the first half.
The second half saw a very even game (much like the end of the first half) with the Under 11s scoring two tries to Kirby Lonsdale's three tries.
This was a close game and whilst Kirby Lonsdale deserved the win the Under 11s performances continue to improve particularly in their defensive play.
Next week is another tough game against Fylde at John Rigby.
