Some of the U13s joined up with the U13s at Sefton on Sunday, to take on Melton Mowbray U13s.
All the lads gelled really well - and ours showed their maturity and experience throughout the pre-game trainaing and the Match.
Afer a thrilling match, during which ALL our lads stood out, especially Grant Oldham who used his blistering pace to score 3(?) tries, the final score was Melton Mowbray 29 - 28 Sefton/Orrell Barbarians.
Well done again to all our lads - and to the Sefton lads who made us feel welcome. Hope we can do it again sometime.
Thanks also to all the Parents who made me feel very welcome in my first match as manager. I'm looking forward to building the team with your help for next season.
