;D The October Newsletter has now finally been completed and will be available as from tomorrow ;D
The Newsletter will be free to all members and will be emailed to those who have email addresses and posted out to those who don't.
For those fans or anyone else who would like to get hold of a copy of this publication but who aren't members, we are asking for just a £1 donation to go towards printing costs (another small incentive to become a member next year)
The newsletter contains information on The 1st team, Edge Hall Road, The 2nd Team, Colts & Junior Sections, the new shirt Sponsors Bullit Recruitment Solutions Ltd, the Land Committee and progress being made on that front, becoming a volunteer, the club's Army connection, competition, quiz and much, much more
It is intended to be a quarterly publication which will hopefully continue to get better and better as we receive comments and stories from all of you...the readers
If anyone wants to order a copy, please email me at jonbuer@orrell-rugby.com and I will arrange to get a copy to you. Failing that it will be on sale at our next home match on 4th November.
Please support this new form of communication as it is intended to help bring all sections of the club together under the 'one club' ethos, after all, we are all 'Orrell RUFC'
I really do hope that as many people as possible will support the club by purchasing a copy and that all those who take the time to read it will enjoy it
I also hope that as many of you as possible will let me have your thoughts on it i.e. layout, contents, etc. Tell me what you would like to see in the next issue and what if anything you don't want to see and I will, where possible try to accommodate it.
