Thought it was about time we saluted this absolute legend of a bloke. Think he should succeed Tony Blair? Want to find out where he gets his long coats? Reckon he is the worst 4th Official ever? Post your comments here in the CHAPPERS APPRECIATION THREAD!

Am always ready to salute a leg end.
I have never, in my 33 years on this earth, seen so much dedication, enthusiasm and sheer hard work from someone so attractive. He is a lesson to us all - particularly those like myself, who have always had a problem in the 'looks' department. It just goes to show that, in this land of freedom and Social Security, the most inteligent and most talented of people can find a path to fame. I compare him to Kylie Minogue, although, having inspected both at close quarters, I have to say that he just about beats her in the bum department!
My appreciation also goes to Chris, his boss, who has to put up with the chap a lot more than we do.
My best memory of his feelings was after Orrell won the Shield at Twickenham - he was the only one to come up and give me a big hug after the game. It was a lovely moment and one that I will always treasure.
Here's to you Chapman. Long may you reign (rain?) as a complete martyr to the rugby community as a whole and your club in particular.
If I may quote from some author who's name I can't remember ( I know it's unusual for me ) - " For those around him, he always left the day a little warmer than he found it".
You do that Sime, and will continue to do so for a long time yet, so I suppose that the rest of us will have to continue to walk in your shadow.
