Following another successful 'Tent Village' it became even more evident that we desperately require more volunteers for home matches.
All matches in November, December, January & February will kick off at 2.00pm, so we will need 6-8 people to be at the ground from 11.00am at the latest (maybe 10.30am), to help set up the tented area as well as the BBQ's, shop & bar.
We also require people to step forward and help with the serving of food and drinks. If it wasn't for my nephew Rob coming to the match yesterday, I'd have been in trouble
My personal thanks again go out to Jean Finch for all her hard work with the BBQ'ing, it got a bit hectic at times !! which is good in a way.
Please, please, please come forward and help out. We will be consolidating the menu next time to cut down on some of the preparatory work. We will be doing away with the jacket potatoes for a start.
I would welcome any feedback on what fans thought of the cuisine yesterday
as we will always listen to what were your likes and dislikes and welcome any criticisms.
Thanks again to all who helped out and of course all those who purchased food and/or drink. We hoped you enjoyed it ;D
