I totally support Chris and what he has done for the club. At times like these we need to pull together and not start fighting amongst ourselves. If it wasn't for Chris we wouldn't even have a team to support - his recruitment and ability to get the best out of players has been demonstrated throughout this most trying of seasons.
I urge all fans to get behind him and show him that we value his contribution to the club. I would love to see Chris leading the push for promotion from North 1 next season. COME ON ORRELL!!!

To suggest Chris is sacked is ridiculous and shows real ignorance of the situation at the club.
If Chris had not been at the club there would have been no team months ago!

The other two previous postings are absolutely correct. Without Chris scouring around for players from all over, beginning with the Army lads from Chester, we definitely would not have got to Christmas.
It would have been easy for him to pack up then, but he didn't and he hasn't!
When the going gets tough it takes some resolution and toughness to keep in there! It is difficult to keep smiling ALL the time!
With all the losses, this has certainly led to a mass exodus of many supposedly supporters of Orrell, but he has not left us!
Now we are having a big input from the local University.
Who do you think organises this!
With all the disappointments it has been extreemly difficult and very hard to keep going in these conditions. As far as I am concerned he is here to stay to the end of the season come hell or high water!
To the remainder of our loyal supporters keep with us and also back up Chris with the support which he needs!

Personally I believe Chris is the key to next year. I have said in previous posts that the club needs some form of continuity to have a base to build from. If we can keep the management team in place it at least provides a platform to build a team around, along with core players from this year.
I don't claim to know the in's and out's of the club but I know Chris puts in a lot of effort to keep the club running, above and beyond just training players and the usual coaches duties.
We could have Declan Kidney, Pat Howard or Graham Henry running the team and they would have struggled to do a better job than Chris. He needs support and understanding that this is not a one season job. If Orrell are to be promoted and more importantly to stay there then the structure of the club needs rebuilding. Off the Field issues have put the club where they are and now were free of those shackles Chris can concentrate on doing his job - producing a team to get Orrell back in the Nationals.

As a few of you know,we travel to most home games and have done now for a number years. We would like to thank ALL concerned for making our journey worthwhile, some may say why travel 180miles (round trip)when we have Nat.2 and premiership rugby on our doorstep,I'll tell you why.......no elitism! Orrell's friendliness and hospitality is second to none,as long as ORUFC is a going concern we will endeavour to make that journey...... to give C.C. the boys and all the hardworking folk our full support. see you all at the Fylde game. Cheers Andy & Rob (wolverhampton) :

As a genuine Fylde and Rugby supporter I would like to apologise for the bottom-feeder who posted the earlier, ridiculous, message. Evey club has a couple of these morons I'm afraid, (if he really IS a Fylde 'supporter we can do without him as well) Fylde as a club have been most distressed at the series of kicks-in-the-teeth that Orrell have been subjected to especially this season. If you check out our message board you'll find that there has been nothing but support for the once mighty Orrell on our site. Best of luck for the future and for this Saturday.

As Rees suggests, I sincerely doubt that this moron is a Fylde supporter. The tenor of the many threads on Orrell that we've had on Fylde's message board in the past season has been entirely supportive.
If he/she is associated with this club than I would personally ban them if it was possible to discover who they was.
Best wishes from Fylde.
Allan Foster (Chairman of Media & Communications, Fylde RFC)

Malo Malo! There's absolutely no doubt, that there would NO team this year if it was'nt for chris chudleigh!! It was a privledge to have played under chris this past season! I think the club needs a few more welsh, running the show! Then we might achieve a few more results! Chris has done wonders for the team, and i would glady play for him again! All the best! C'mon WALES!!
