Following another successful 'Tent Village' it became even more evident that we desperately require more volunteers for home matches. All matches in November, December, January & February will kick off at 2.00pm, so we will need 6-8 people to be at the ground from 11.00am at the latest (maybe 10.30am), to help set up the tented area as well as the BBQ's, shop & bar. We also require people to step forward and help with the serving of food and drinks. If it wasn't for my nephew Rob coming to the match yesterday, I'd have been in trouble My personal thanks again go out to Jean Finch for all her hard work with the BBQ'ing, it got a bit hectic at times !! which is good in a way. Please, please, please come forward and help out. We will be consolidating the menu next time to cut down on some of the preparatory work. We will be doing away with the jacket potatoes for a start. I would welcome any feedback on what fans thought of the cuisine yesterday as we will always listen to what were your likes and dislikes and welcome any criticisms. Thanks again to all who helped out and of course all those who purchased food and/or drink. We hoped you enjoyed it ;D See you all again on 4th November...if not before ;D

The Scoreboard work was spot on - thanks for doing it!
You efforts were really appreciated and if you can do it again it would be a great help.

Chris and I will be there. I have been doing the spuds and pies and coffees. Could do with getting some plastic teaspoons if you are at Cash and Carry Jon as the dessert spoon makes bloody strong coffee but the coffee granules are going down fast!
Also willing to spell you on the braai (that's so the South Africans know where you are!) if things on the coffee stall are slack.

Hi Jon I was trying to spell the implement you use to put sugar into a cup and stir with. For some reason the s***n bit got altered every time to 'thingy'. Sorry for the South African slang - braai is short for braaivleis which is the Afrikaans word for barbeque and yes, spell you means to take over the flipping of burgers while you watch some of the rugby. I shall stop posting messages now as I am causing utter confusion! I was only standing in for my mate Paul who has been very silent on these boards lately!

Haha I didn't realise but 'poon' was on the censored list... yes, we all know what it means but I think we'll be safe to de-censor it now :-)
