As the article on the website says, yes he has left. Disappointing definitely, but I know he has his reasons for doing so. Wishing him all the best in the future

Sorry but i think alot more may follow, we as a club have players that would enjoy their rugby elsewhere. They may have committed to the orrell cause but how much more can they take ,after Longtons game and the arguments about money and expenses and what club pays and doesnt Caldy are known to have a few bob or too. I for one feel Degsy could have actually gone up to Nat 2 he would have matured as a player and benefited more. Anyway back to the drawing board . Noticed we had the new boys in the backs have others left ? Can we not get anyone with some size all i see is new players come and no size in the forwards . Where are the fijians now the no.8 , openside and the two wingers .

Where are the fijians now the no.8 , openside and the two wingers . Just what is the point of this post? Every club has players "who would enjoy their rugby elsewhere"-so what? In this depressiong era of professional rugby ( that only a handful of clubs can afford) there will always be talk amongst players about which clubs are paying the most money etc. My advice to players is-if you are not enjoying yourself, please leave NOW.We do not need or want players who spend their time ,with an inflated sense of their own ability, spreading unrest by touting their services to competing clubs. You call yourself "fan" but clearly know no players' names , referring to "Fijians" "No.8.wingers" etc .I suspect you are just another anonymous mischief maker.

Well i am back from Dubs kept an eye on whats going on from out there once again i can see everyone is pregnant doging about posts and players . On reading the above views as aplayer i understand the guests view but from my opinion is that players of Young Degsys age should make moves to clubs as careers are short and you do have to enjoy it as much as possible he is a character and gave more than 110% to Orrell .` And im sure he will give his new club the same .
Our current situation is dire but things will come good soon ,as for the post above i dont know who you are and from what i see players are at Orrell for National League Experience . Remember we have players that I personally brought in for Chris from Kent ,Doncaster , Leeds , Rochdale and a new guy from Birmingham this week. These guys have been on the receiving end of some brutal games and they still come to play, expenses are great when we travel from our destinations for a home game a loss makes our journey home like an away game and its not nice at all. ........ So we must be enjoying our rugby and we are still here . So when a post comes up take it in ,judge it in your head not on here . think about those who are from other clubs that have left to help Orrells fight for survival . And if you want to know personally what they have given up to play for Orrell and i know some of them take abuse and banter about playing for us then come see me. We will play as long as we are needed by the coach . If one of the guys decides to leave to play elsewhere then i will back him 100% because if he has lost his motivation then his head will not be in it i know i have been there . Goooooooo......OOOOOORRRRREEEEEELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
