Taken from Rugby Advertiser preview for Rugby Lions for saturday's game - good to see no gloating:
"One consequence of the Whelan fall-out is that Orrell are not allowed the use of their clubhouse, rebuilt after a fire, but volunteers are apparently making visiting supporters extremely welcome in a tented village and a fan-friendly pub.
So all those much-valued Lions followers who travel to the north-west to support their side will also be showing respect to a very traditional club always known for their true rugby spirit off the pitch, even if past players like Sammy Southern and Bob Kimmins were less accommodating during the game itself."
