what was the out cum of last night

Last night was split into a training session of two halves followed by a "game" of what I think was about half an hour. They played two 20 minute sessions, firstly with them attacking and then with us on the attack.

Overall performance (in my opinion) wasn't as good as last Saturday but to be fair, the Referee was far from the best I've seen

The whole evening was very stop/start and the "game" was played in virtual darkness. Altrincham were obviously used to playing in these conditions and despite all that, the final score (if you want to call it that) was 5-0 to Altrincham

Personally I wouldn't read too much into the score or performances from last night. I think a good indicator will be at Kendal tomorrow

One worrying point from last night is that Matt Collie & one of our Fijian players (sorry, we really need to get these player profiles on the website so I can learn everyone's names) picked up injury's. I hope it's nothing too serious and any official news on those would be appreciated

I'm still confident and am looking forward to the start of the season proper
