Just to say well done to those who played yesterday. With a total squad about half the size of Chester's, and one that included many from the Anvils and Colts, it was great to see you beat them 4 tries to 3. What stood out more than anything else was your sheer COMMITMENT - brilliant!! Am already getting excited about the Kendal game (unfortunately can't make Altrincham - if I venture too far south I get nose-bleeds).

Gladiator....I don't know if you're familiar with the unofficial forum of the club but there have already been several posts about Saturday's match on there. It might be worth a look to save repeating them all. You can find it at: www.tosas.moonfruit.com/Just click on "fans forum" and follow the instructions... But just in case....the performance was extremely encouraging. We played 4 quarters and except for the 2nd quarter and our goal kicking I thought we were very encouraging indeed. Well done to all involved.... ;D Hope that helps...

Wish I could have been there for the whole game but work commitments saw me only make it for 30 minutes From what I did see though, and from the players reactions, it was a pleasing performance and I can only see things improving from here on. There's some great anecdotes from Chris in the Coach's Corner section on the official site here: www.orrell-rugby.com/ccaugust2006.html

;DA massive well done to the lad who played on saturday really enjoyed the game and it gave me hope for the forth coming season. The First Quarter was exceptional great trys by sailsbury and the number 10. There were still areas that need to be brushed up on that we seen in the second quarter with the conceded trys which looked like a loss of comunication between the centres. But the colts that played look full of enthusiasm a thing i think we lacked a bit last season. But i feel as if this team has the potental to be one of the great orrell teams lets all hope the team can keep on performing so well ;D
Like the look of the new strip as well cant wait to get me hands on one
