Even last season in spite of our problems this site and the Tosas was a hive of activity, so where has everyone gone? Such a shame that people can forget a club in such a short space of time.

With an average crowd of approx 100 evary home match and a few who travel away I think the support is still there

us players never seem to get told anything that is going on with the club could someone give me a brief update on what is going on within the club

A brief update as requested:
The First XV are going well (although they have had a number of injuries - I think that about 40 different players have played for them this season) and are playing some good rugby. There is a good turn out of supporters at each home game (if you or anyone else wants to come and watch the next home game is on 24 November against Ormskirk - maybe you could get the drum out!) and there is still alot of support for the Club. The last newsletter is posted on the Junior Section website which gives details of various off field matters such as finance. The next newsletter will be out in January and will contain news about the Junior Section (it will be posted on the Junior Section website).
Projects are ongoing to find a new home for the Club and to seek to raise the profile of and grow the Junior Section.
The finances of the Junior Section are sound although as always if anyone reading this is interested in sponsoring the Junior Section please let me know - your support would be welcome!
As for the current Under 16s team the Club very much hopes that the players in that team will stay with the Club and form a Junior Colts Team for next season. I am sure the current Under 16s team would form the basis for a successful Junior Colts Team!! Hopefully there will be a meeting with the Under 16s team in the next few weeks to discuss next season.
It is your Club and if you or any other members of the Junior Section have any suggestions or ideas for things we could do to improve the Club or you have any questions please let me know. I would be happy to have a chat with you or any of the players in the Junior Section on a wednesday night at training.
