I thought the whole idea of leaving patrick and JJB was so we could get a make that would bring money to the club from the sales. but then i hear the players are buying training kit from one of the coaches and the money is going to him not to the club why is this happening there is so much talk of the club having no money but your letting this hapen it doesnt make sense.

Mr Amber,
I don't think it's quite as simple as that. As far as I am aware, we have ordered a number of replica shirts that will be with us soon. I was also personally looking at some other items like car stickers, car tax disks, umbrella's, etc. I am still looking into these and would welcome feedback from anyone who would be willing to purchase item's like that.
The issue with a full range of Orrell clothing is that due to the number of sales from last season, it's obvious that the demand is not great and the last thing we want is to purchase stock that will take us 3 or 4 seasons to sell.
It may be that we take advance orders and once we have enough to be cost effective, we place an order with the supplier.

As a long-term fan Forever Amber, I am sure you know the cash flow problems we are having. Obviously I cannot divulge too much information but the training shirts in question were sold below cost price to the players with the seller (who shall not be named) taking a small percentage purely to cover his expenses for getting the gear in the first place.
We are getting replica shirts in within the next 2 weeks that will be on sale for £35 (TBC) on matchdays and through the website, from which all profits go directly to the club.
We are also getting some coats, polos and other clothing from Kooga but this is dependent on demand and how much money we take from initial clothing sales.
Keep your chin up though, it never hurts to be upbeat!

I don't like the tone of this. There is an implication that somebody is making capital out of the squad, from within the squad. When the club is in a position to provide training gear for the boys it will I'm sure. For the moment the gentleman in question has provided an excellent interim service. And as for making money out the boys, I believe currently he is quite considerably in the red.
